Wow, I LOVE this place! đđđ Such a chic, hip and calm place! I think it's better to spend a whole day there rather than going to other private beach in the coastal region. It's worth for paying for the whole experience!! We hired two beds and a umbrella. They have both swimming pools and a beach. The staff are very attentive and work hard on cleaning and managing the place. The water is crystal clear, the food is amazing and the service is great. đ
We went to Maya Beach twice this week because after the first day we enjoyed it so much with the service from Francesco, we came back a second day and everyone welcomed us back! The service was great, Francesco is such a nice person and the rest of the staff there is so friendly as well. Definitely a go to location and definitely ask for Francesco and say Tonino recommended!
Beaaaautiful place! Staff is wonderful and helpful. From the journey at the top of the hill (got a Maya van down, no problem) to the wonderful staff at front desk - Ezequiel being the first smiley staff to greet us and direct us to the beautiful beds! Drinks amazing, food amazing, view amazing just 10/10!!
Maya Beach Experience offers a taste of paradise. Located on the stunning Amalfi Coast, it combines beachfront luxury with vibrant atmosphere. Perfect for sunseekers and those looking for a stylish seaside escape, it's a slice of heaven with breathtaking views and a lively beach scene.
Lovely afternoon at this beach club. Not spectacular views at all over the water but the pool was nice and a chilled out vibe throughout. Food was lovely as was drinks, it is expensive, but you expect that from the calibre of beach club.
We came at night for the party on a Saturday. Basically the road to get there is extremely dangerous because itâs steep, narrow, and has no lights. The price to get a table is extremely overrated for what it is. We got there at around 10:30 pm and the show and music really started at about 11:45 pm. However, for someone from Beirut, the party was not that interesting. We ended up leaving early. Over all, it was not worth it for us. I would not visit again.
Fantastic experience, very sexy area and safe, the food always outstanding!!!
A day to remember
If I was basing my review on location and view alone it would be a solid 5/5, but there is much more to it then that! (Iâd also give a 3.5 if I could but Google doesnât allow it)
The hotel itself was stunning, from the balcony view on to the sea, to the room aesthetic and decor of the outside pool area. However a few things let the stay down.
Pros:
1. View - the view is insane, the general scenery and sunset are beautiful
2. The included breakfast is really great (fresh fruit, pastries and then a menu selection such as omelette, eggs Benedict, pancakes etc.) we had lunch and it was expensive but the quality and quantity was decent
3. Pool was beautiful, if you can get up and in the pool for when it opens at 10am youâll have the space to yourself for a good half hour, even on a busy day. The main pool was also nice and clean during our stay.
4. Beds, very comfy & generally the room feels very relaxing and chilled. Every room has a sunset, sea and pool view which is great
5. The staff at the front desk were very helpful, and the waiting staff serving the beds were very attentive.
6. Plenty of room to park your car, albeit a tricky descent down the cliff side to get to it - but perfectly manageable and not a paid car park which is more typical in the region.
7. Great location if you want to travel around to sorrento, capri, even the amalfi coast isnât far by car if you have one available
Cons:
1. When we arrived our room wasnât up to the cleanliness standards youâd expect for the price you pay. The floor was covered with what looked like the previous guestsâ head hair & pubes as well as one towel that wasnât as clean as we would hope for
2. The outdoor area the morning after Mayaâs weekend parties wasnât great. Glasses and rubbish left and not cleaned until later in the day - again when youâre paying the price to stay there you expect better
3. The front desk and waiter staff were mainly very pleasant and friendly. The bar staff on the other hand were rude and ignored us on a few occasions, albeit we donât speak Italian very well so there may have been a language barrier
4. For a Malibu and coke + a bottle of beer we paid âŹ45 (madness) on the party nights
All in all we really enjoyed our stay, it was just a few things that tainted the stay. If youâre looking for an extremely âinstagrammableâ experience and arenât too fussed about cleanliness then this is for you.
If I was to recommend this place I would say come during the midweek when there are no evening events and enjoy the beauty and luxury of the location.
